Research

MRL focuses on the development of novel devices and materials (MEMS and bioMEMS) for uncooled infrared detection, power harvesting and voltage conversion, biosensing of Salmonella and E. coli O157:H7, cell sizing, brain slice studies.

  • Silicon Germanium Oxide (Si-Ge-O) uncooled infrared material
  • Uncooled infrared microbolometers, and Multiband uncooled infrared microbolometers
